THE CHILD’S FIRST STEP
The journey of exploration and learning expedition of the tiny-tots begin in the Kindergarten. Our philosophy is to develop readiness in the child’s mind for a smooth take -off in education. Therefore our curriculum is unique in helping the child to develop various skills like motor, sensory and physical co-ordination. To create a sense of oneness we observe important thematic days & celebrate all festivals with Zeal & fervor. The learning opportunities provided in our school will certainly give a delightful experience blending academics with fun and frolic.
In accordance with the change in the CBSE pattern of examinations which focuses on the holistic development of the students, Periodic tests and exams will be conducted. The schedule for the examination is given in the Hand Book. Parents should collect the Report Card on open days. They can meet the respective subject teachers on the same day.
CLASS I & II
Students will be assessed through periodic tests planned throughout the year.
CLASS III to X
There are two Terms I & II. In each term there are two periodic tests along with Half–yearly exam in the first term and Annual exam in the second term. Internal assessment is done based on Notebook submission, Assignments and Subject enrichment activities.
Assessments of both scholastic and co –scholastic skills will be endorsed in the Report card which has to be duly signed and returned to the class teacher.
Notebooks should be maintained neatly without any default, as it carries 5 marks in each term.
Assignments and Records for subject enrichment should be submitted on time for scoring 5 marks in internal assessment.
Apart fromTerminal examination Model and pre board examination will be conducted prior to the Board Exam for class X.
CLASS XI & XII
Students will be given unit tests regularly. Mid term exams will be held in July & February. Terminal examinations modal and pre board examination will be conducted for class XII.
To ensure the completion of assignments, projects and to train the students for final AISSE /AISSCE Examination, Admit Card System has been introduced.
This Admit card should be shown to the invigilators on the days of Examination.
Regular SMS updation regarding the Absenteeism of the students, Home Assignments, Exam Schedule , Opendays and Holidays are given.
Since important messages are sent through SMS, Kindly keep the Mobile numbers updated in our school records. The school will not be responsible if your mobile numbers are switched off or any network errors.
